Oregon Inlet Fishing Center
Observe one of the largest fleets of sports fishing boats on the mid-Atlantic Coast at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. In season, boats return to port between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. with daily catches. The inlet is a major departure point for charter fishing trips.
There’s always something fun to do near Ramada Plaza Nags Head. Try hang gliding, golf, tennis, wind surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, air tours, canoeing, scenic boat tours, sailing, surf fishing, charter boat fishing, exploring old shipwrecks, and strolling the lovely unspoiled beaches. Fishing is allowed from three local piers (24 hours a day, in season), or simply cast your line from the beach. You can also visit some or all of the nearby lighthouses, and take home photos of their solitary beauty.
